Hello All Day 5
I will definitely be creating a book when I have time of this adventure. Like I have said many times, it is like I have been transported to another world for five full days. Natural Habitat runs an amazing schedule and they keep you busy. All adding to the adventure. Yesterday, on the bus to our hotel, Garrett reiterated, please when we return to the hotel. don’t boast about our trip to the people just starting their trip because our trip was truly magical. Garrett’s last trip he saw ten bears total and we saw over forty bears. They haven’t seen a mother bear with three cubs in over twenty years. I guess during covid one of the bear guards saw one. But still amazing. And to see ten bears all together is also a first. We also saw the Aurora Borealis out of season and now even if it is out, the next group will not be going out to see it. The bear guards, say just too many bears so it isn’t safe. The last day we took a tour of the town of Churchill. Every time we did step out of the bus for a quick photo shoot, Garrett would go into panic mode telling us if he says get on the bus just get on walking down the isle so everyone can get on quickly. It takes too long for people to get seated. What a way to live, especially as we get close to the bay freezing over. I guess we will never be repeating this trip because between Garrett, our guide, Lauren, our rover driver, our trip was most unbelievable. At first I thought maybe they say this to everyone but after all the talk among the guides I guess it was the perfect adventure.
