“American Constitution” Boston - Boston, MA
After having all of our planned 2020 trips cancelled, we are now both fully vaccinated and finally able to travel again. We will visit the majestic seafaring heritage of coastal towns and quaint island villages on an 11-day Grand New England cruise. The ship will dock in the heart of each historic harbor, amidst working boats and luxurious private yachts. Steps away there will be whaling and maritime museums, scenic bluffs, beaches, cobblestone streets, and unique shops. Since Holly has been able to prove her linage to the Mayflower and has been accepted into the Society of Mayflower Descendants, we plan to get to Boston a couple of days early so we can take a day trip to Plymouth. In Plymouth we will be able to visit the Plimoth Plantation and the Mayflower II, a complete replica of the original Mayflower.
This is billed as a lobster bake cruise where we discover America's birthplace and savor the local cuisine, from the succulent lobsters of the Penobscot Bay to the best chowders of New England. I expect this cruise to put out our Lobster low level light!
