Epilogue - October 17, 2018

Well met my 2nd cousin Michael Carpenter.  Wilma is his great aunt. It was very interesting talking with him. He knows much more than me about the Tew family. There were twelve kids and Wilma was the youngest. He actually attended the funeral of Tillie Tew one of Wilma’s older sisters. Wilma was not very welcomed at the funeral, so I guess the poor girl wasn’t well liked by her own family much less the Ryans. We do know that Myrtle Coon, married to George McCarthy, was sister to Frank Coon who married to two of Wilma’s sisters; at different times of course. The McCarthy’s took care of my Dad all of his life until he left for the military. The McCarthy probably did quite well taking care of him as the mob always had money and Wilma enjoyed it all. Wilma liked the fast lane.

On the ship we met this couple whose sole reason to travel to Minneapolis was to come to the Mall of America. It had been on her bucket list for years, so after lunch we had to check it out. The amusement rides in the center rivaled some of the wildest rides I have ever seen. My stomach was in the throat just watching. It was a fun mall and if I lived here it would a must if I needed to shop.

Hope To Never Have To Do This Again
