“American Constitution” Baltimore - Baltimore, MD

American Revolution Cruise

This year after hours and hours of ancestry research Holly was able to prove her linage to the Mayflower and was accepted into the Society of Mayflower Descendants. In addition she was accepted as a Daughter of the American Revolution, therefore it is only fitting that we do something historical. So we will continue our yearlong golden anniversary celebration on a historic 11- day cruise along the Chesapeake Bay in the comfort of the brand new “American Constitution”. We will travel back to the dawn of America. Explore the quaint towns and historic cities that have shaped our nation, including Colonial Williamsburg, a living history museum with period-specific tradespeople, shopkeepers, and political figures. We will step onto the last battlefield of the Revolutionary War in Yorktown and travel to Jamestown, the site of the first English settlement in the New World. We will explore our Nation’s capital, the Smithsonian exhibitions, and the area's many historic monuments, before visiting Mount Vernon, George Washington’s iconic 18th-century home. In Annapolis, we take a guided city tour and visit the homes of the Founding Fathers who signed the Declaration of Independence, and visit the US Naval Academy. On board and on shore, Revolutionary War experts, authors, and re-enactors join us to bring our nation’s history to life.

 This is a Crabfest Cruise

We will cruise the scenic Chesapeake Bay and delight our palates with fresh seafood from the "Blue Crab Capital of the World." On  our 11-day American Revolution Crabfest Cruise, we will sample tasty blue crab, and  learn about the culinary and economic  importance of these Callinectes sapidus, or "beautiful swimmers."
